The digitalisation of work and a transition to non-traditional work practices such as remote work has increased worldwide. Helping prevent workplace injury and disease in these circumstances, including workers who are multi-employed, have job uncertainty, are self-employed, or work from home - presents a regulatory challenge.
This symposium asks, are current legal and enforcement frameworks still fit for purpose? If not, what new solutions might ensure equal levels of protection against exposure to occupational hazards for all?
