Professional Bio
Mark has been with the Queensland Government since 2007, having previously worked for the Royal Australian Airforce, Virgin Blue Australia and as a Small Business Owner. Joining the Office of Industrial Relations Enforceable Undertakings (EU) Unit in 2011, Mark has been managing the EU Unit since 2013 and has extensive experience working with internal and external stakeholders in the development, evaluation, acceptance and monitoring of over 90 EUs that have provided approximately $30 million in safety benefits for workers, the workplace, industry and the community. A passionate WHS and EU advocate, Mark has played an integral role in the development and success of the Qld EU Program and has provided advice and assistance to a number of jurisdictions both nationally and internationally with the development of their EU Programs. As an active member of the National Heads of Workplace Safety Authorities EU Community of Practice and the Bi-Annual WHS Regulators National EU Forum working groups, Mark continues to work collaboratively with these WHS jurisdictions to enable continued practice development and address commons areas of interest and concerns regarding EUs.
