Phillip has worked in international development, health and policy for over 30 years.
He has been based in Asia for 15 of those years, including Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. He was Executive Officer of the Australian based international development agency, APHEDA, from 1990-2001 and has worked for both the ILO (Chief Technical Officer Industrial Relations Project 2013-2016 and 2022-2023 Vietnam) and for APHEDA in various program management roles. Phillip also worked on asbestos policy and risk issues in Australia 2006-2009 and is currently Manager of the Eliminating Asbestos Related Diseases Program for APHEDA. The program operates across 4 countries in SE Asia.
