Simone Stevenson is the inaugural Chief Executive Officer of the Victorian Asbestos Eradication Agency (VAEA) established December 2016. Simone is experienced in policy development across occupational health and safety, workers’ compensation, industrial/workplace relations, health, and international development. She has worked as a ministerial policy adviser in industrial relations, occupational health and safety, workers compensation and employment. Simone is an appointed observer on the Asbestos Safety and Eradication Agency Council and is chair of the Victorian Asbestos Forum.
