Dr. Ro-Ting Lin

Dr. Ro-Ting Lin is an Associate Professor at China Medical University in Taiwan, Deputy Secretary-General of Taiwan Occupational Hygiene Association, Honorary Associate of the Asbestos Research Diseases Institute in Australia, and Visiting Associate Professor at Chiba University in Japan. Her research addresses environmental and occupational health policies and cross-country comparisons, with a particular focus on the impact of industrialization on population health. She has been a Research Associate at the University of Occupational and Environmental Health in Japan, a Takemi Fellow at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in the United States, and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences in Taiwan, researching associations between environmental and occupational determinants and population health. In addition, she has nearly six years of direct hands-on experience working in the world’s largest semiconductor foundry—Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC). She served as a Senior Engineer and then was promoted to Principal Engineer at the Corporate Environmental, Safety, and Health Division, where she managed corporate-level environmental and occupational health research projects and regulatory compliance.
