Professional Bio
My name 's Piseth IM, a Program Manager of AIP Foundation, Cambodia. I first started working with AIP Foundation’s Cambodia team in 2011 as an Operations Officer. Given my background in Education and gained Master Degree in TESOL, I was promoted to the position of School-based Program Coordinator, a role which I held until 2015. I was awarded a Teaching Excellence Award in 2016 and attended a training program in management and leadership in the USA. Then I was promoted to be a Program Manager in 2017. I have a strong interest in road safety and wishes to see safety on Cambodia’s roads. My varied and successful career includes working in organisations across the Education, Corporate and International Development sectors. As a professional educator I have the skills that enable me to develop education strategies and programs, implement learning initiatives and evaluate learning outcomes. My experience in the corporate sector has further developed my capacity to improve organisational governance, organisational and individual performance and talent management outcomes. My strengths are my inter-personal skills, managing competing priorities and my ability to develop and present innovative solutions and influence decision making that empowers and educates individuals to make informed decisions. My career objective is to use my road safety expertise and strategic partnering capability to work collaboratively with government, business leaders, communities and other strategic partners to develop and deliver effective road safety initiatives that prevent road crash injuries and fatalities.
