Professional Bio
Dr Patricia A.0. Adouko has been involved for 15 years in a process of continuous improvement for the health, safety and well-being of people in Côte d'Ivoire. As a health project coordinator for private companies, hospitals and university centres, as well as the Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene, she has focused on controlling the working environment to ensure the well-being of workers throughout their careers. She is co-founder of Entreprise en Santè et Sècuritè au Travail, a firm that supports companies in best practices in health, safety and quality of life at work, and President of the Association des Managers pour la Santè et la Qualitè de Vie au Travail (AM-QVT) in Côte d'Ivoire.
Since 2018, she has been developing and implementing strategies to promote health at work among Ivorian companies for the Caisse Nationale de Prèvoyance Sociale. It contributes to maintaining workers' health and improving working environments, in particular by raising employers' awareness, providing advice, training workers and carrying out compliance checks.
Internationally, she is vice-chair of the ISSA's Technical Commission on Insurance against Industrial Accidents and Occupational Diseases.
Patricia holds a doctorate in medicine, a specialist diploma in occupational health and a master's degree in recognition and the Entreprise en Santè standard.
