Professional Bio
Ms Evelyn Koh provides specialist support in the areas of OSH standards, best practices, research and development. Her work involves assessment and control of health hazards, such as chemicals, noise, ergonomics at workplaces to safeguard persons at work and advises on engineering control measures to prevent occupational diseases. She is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
Ms Koh is currently the Deputy Director of the Occupational Hygiene and Occupational Medicine branch in the Specialist Department, under the Occupational Safety and Health Division (OSHD), Ministry of Manpower (MOM) Singapore. She leads a team to coordinate and develop occupational hygiene programmes, conduct investigations and enforcement activities. Her work involves operationalising strategies into effective implementation and execution of occupational hygiene programmes so as to prevent and control workplace health risk.
