Deniz Karakaş joined the Turkish Confederation of Employer Associations (TISK) as a deputy secretary general in January 2000. His main responsibility is to lead technical departments of the Confederation, undertaking evidence-based policy-making efforts and projects that spanned various topics, including digitalization, future of work transformation, sustainability and green transformation, competitiveness of employers, active labour market policies, and economic and social development including social responsibility topics. He is also a member of National Minimum Wage Decision Committee, entrusted with delivering technical presentations on behalf of the Turkish employers
