HSR - St Vincent De Paul Warehouse
Professional Bio
I started my working life pretty much at 17 years of age working for Rothmans of Pall Mall PTY LTD for 25 years. My work ethic is based on this company as they believed in teamwork, training, promoting within the company and Safety was paramount! I have followed these ethics through my working life as a Volunteer within the school, and then becoming a Teacher’s Aide, working in assisted living for people with disabilities. I currently work for Vinnie’s where I have been employed for 12 years: I am a Union Delegate with the SDA and a HSR my duties are working within the warehouse. I enjoy working for Vinnie’s as the work is as diversified as the people that work there; everyday is different with different challenges. I work alongside a strong and respectful team of workmates that vary from: fully employed, casual, volunteers, work experience programs, refuges, non English speaking backgrounds, disabilities, and may more. Our Transport team also are an amazing bunch of people, delivering well needed goods to those in need and picking up so many donations, and being respectful to those in need!
Vinnie’s is a non for profit organisation that supports people in need! Be it as simple as clothing, food, accommodation and welfare support. They believe in giving a hand up not a hand down!
