After sustaining a physical injury while working as a teacher librarian, Annette channelled her experience of systemic failure into advocacy. In campaigning to ensure no further harm is done and workers can safely recover and return to work, Annette is focused on using her voice to shape a work health and safety system that prevents injuries and optimally responds to them.
