Alena Titterton is a partner at the law firm Clyde & Co where she specialises in health and safety and security practice. She has previously presented at the World Congress on Safety & Health at Work in both Istanbul and Singapore and is passionate about sharing her work and experiences with the safety community globally. Along with Michael Tooma, she is one of the architects of the Due Diligence Index for Safety. She has also developed a niche for making health and safety law more practical for implementation on the ground by harnessing the power of technology, developing tools for health and safety legal compliance and incident notification applications and supporting clients with implementing new technology for better health and safety outcomes. She has a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology) and applies that multi-disciplinary approach in her work as a health and safety lawyer. She is listed in Chambers and as a Leading Individual in Legal 500 in the area of health and safety. She volunteers her time in supporting the Women in Safety and Health Network of the Australian Institute of Health and Safety.
