If your workplace employs 249 or less workers, then it's categorised as a micro, small & medium-sized enterprise (MSME). MSMEs represent about 90% of businesses and more than 50% of employment worldwide (Worldbank.org). When it comes to engaging with OSH, though, MSMEs worldwide demonstrate lower formality levels, lower awareness, and lower compliance with OSH standards.
